I just returned from attending the NASG annual Convention that was held in Harrisburg, PA. It was a great show and an opportunity to get together with S-Guage modelers from all around the country and Canada. They held some interesting clinics and had a modular S-scale layout.
There was a large vender hall with everything S-Guage and a little extra.
I also had the opportunity to get to know Dan Navarre, the retiring head of River Raisin Models, the maker of high-quality brass models. He is a very interesting guy, whose many and varied interests include wildlife photography. He shared a display of his "National Geographic" quality photos. The hobby will miss his attention to detail and insistence on high quality.
